A new photography exhibit will have its opening reception at 4×5 Gallery (442 Haight) tonight.
The show is called “Long Way Around,” and features photographs by San Francisco-based photographer David Egan in his first solo show.
“Long Way Around” includes both color and black-and-white photos taken during Egan’s road trips to nowhere in particular. “I travel by car photographing the visual representations of transition from one point to another,” Egan writes. “I embrace the random: finding places and things that fit. The imagery is my search.”
Tonight’s reception goes from 6pm to 9pm. The show will be up through December 1st.
